Waiting and waiting

Our son was supposed to fly into the local airport tonight and begin his vacation with us. He emailed us this morning and he is desperately trying to get from London to Amsterdam to fly to Minneapolis. The snow is so bad that he is not sure if he will make it, but has promised us he would be home for Christmas! What weather the world is having. And who would have thought that the snow in Europe would make our Christmas a little stressed out?  Then to think that all the airports in London and many others in Europe have people sleeping, standing in line and sitting around waiting for their stand-by status to be a reality and just wanting to get home for Christmas Day.

All of us are waiting. Aren’t we also waiting for Jesus to return? I am!

Merry Christmas to all of you, even if it is not the perfect one that you wanted.
