I Dyed Yesterday, but I’m OK Today!

It was warm yesterday, but not warm enough to keep me from dyeing the most luscious mohair I just got from Psalm 23 Ranch. It is a covered fleece and is sooooo clean and soft. I dyed it with acid dyes and here is the drying rack full of beautiful color.  I plan on spinning this as the fluffy stuff on a core yarn. I can hardly wait to get to it.

Meanwhile, I am taking a break from warping my Macomber with a shawl. It is going to be all cotton and very nubbly, thanks to my friend Gayle and her cotton cones that were for sale!! More on the weaving later.
